This is the INDEPENDENT variable in the investigation. |
THENtells the reader what will happen as the result of the change described in the IF… statement.
This is the DEPENDENT variable in the investigation. |
BECAUSESTATES the reasons you think your prediction (IF and THEN statement) know this will occur.
The information is based upon something you have experienced, observed or perhaps something you infer. |
An “NULL HYPOTHESIS” is an statement that a researcher tries to disprove, reject or nullify.
